U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture Explores the Role of Biofuels in Rural Economy, ABFA Applauds

Tuesday, April 8, 2014

In response to the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry’s hearing on the role of biofuels in the rural economy?, the Advanced Biofuels Association (ABFA) released the following statement attributed to President Michael McAdams:

“Our members have made great strides in a few short years in building an advanced and cellulosic industry that is creating jobs across rural America. Congressional support continues to be vital as several companies already are producing gallons and many more are seeking to break ground or to raise funds to build their first plants. ABFA appreciates the leadership of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry on these issues and their focus on the role of advanced and cellulosic biofuels in strengthening the rural economy.”
